Konstantinos Karagkounis

Konstantinos Karagkounis was born in 1975. He is a Greek politician and Lawyer.

Political Career[edit]

He was elected as MP for first time in Aetolokarnania, in the elections of 2009. In the elections of May 2012 he was elected as MP of Aetoloakarnanias and was re-elected in June 2012.

By decision of the president of the ND, he recently undertook position as Deputy Sector Manager in the field of Political Responsibility Justice. In June 21, 2012, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights.

Education Career[edit]

He graduated from the Law School of Athens University. He has attended courses in European Economic Law and European Comparative Law at the University of Francois Rabelais de Tours and holds a Master's degree from the University of London UEL, from which he graduated with honors with specialization in the field of International Law. He continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, studying in the area of ​Intellectual Property.
