Jacek Tomczak

Jacek Tomczak – (born on 27th July 1973 in Poznań, Poland) is a Polish politician, official of local government and legal counsel and a Member of Parliament( V, VI and VII term).

Political Career[edit]

In 1998-2005 he was a member of the Poznań city council. In 1988-1990 he worked at the Polish Confederation of Independecy (Konfederacja Polski Niepodległej). He was then a member of the Christian-National Union (Zjednoczenie Chrześcijańsko-Narodowe), from 1999 to 2001 he was head of this party in Poznań. Between 2001 and 2002 he was a member of the Covenant of Right (Przymierze Prawicy), where he also served as head of the party in Poznan. Then he then became a member of the Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość). In 2011 he changed political party to the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska). In the 2005 elections he was elected as a Member of Parliament in the district of Poznań and was reelected in 2007 and 2011.

Education[edit]

He graduated in Law from the Adam Mickiewicz University. During his studies he joined the Corporation Academic Lechia.
