Iro Dioti

Iro Dioti was born in Athens in 1979. She is a Greek politician and Economist.

Political Career[edit]

She was elected MP with SYRIZA (Coalition of Radical Left) in the Constituency of Larissa in the general election of 2009. He was re-elected on the 6th of May and on the 17th of June 2012 in the national elections with SYRIZA/Unitary Social Front.
He was a member of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade, of the Special Permanent Committee on Environmental Protection (vice-president) and its Subcommittee on water resources.

Education Career[edit]

Graduate from the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki). He speaks English.

Notable Work[edit]

He is an active member of City Movements and of Action Against Racism-a member of the Central Political Committee of Synaspismos and the Central Committee of SYRIZA/ Unitary Social Front. He was an MP in SYRIZA from 2009 to 2012.
