Ioannis Panousis

Ioannis Panousis was born in Athens in 1949. He is a Greek politician and Professor at the University of Athens.

Political Career[edit]

He was president and member of dozens of Greek or European scientific and social bodies (President of Central Scientific Prison Committee, member of Law Commission for Drugs and Hooliganism, member of Education Committee of OECD, member of UNESCO National Committee, member of National Centre for Social Sciences etc). He was also in charge for issues concerning Public Order, Justice and Administration.

Education Career[edit]

He has a degree from Law School as well as a degree in Political Science, màitrise and doctorate from the University of Poitiers – France. He speaks French and English.
