Ioannis Drivelegkas

Ioannis Drivelegkas (Greek: Ιωάννης Δριβελέγκας; born in Kalandra, Chalkidiki, in 1957) is a Greek politician and farmer.

Political Career[edit]

Ioannis Drivelegkas is an elected Member of Parliament with PASOK (Elections of 1993, 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2012) in the constituency of Chalkidiki.

He served as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade of the Greek parliament (In office 2009-2011) and is the current Vice – Chairman.

He was appointed Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (In office from 17/6/2011 to 17/5/2011).

He currently serves as the 5th Deputy Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament and member of the Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts and the Committee on state-owned enterprises, banks, public utility enterprises and social security agencies.
