Georgios Pantzas

Georgios Pantzas was born in Athens in 1937. He is a Greek politician and actor. In 2007, 2009 and 2012 he was a candidate deputy for SYRIZA in the region of Attica, where he was elected deputy in elections on 17.6.2012.

Political Career[edit]

In 1986 he was candidate Mayor of Kaisariani city, supported by PASOK. 
However, in 1993 he resigned from PASOK and he became a founding member of DIKKI.
He participated as a candidate member in the Second part of the constituency of Athens in 1996 and 2000. In 2004, he was candidate deputy for the rest of Attica with DIKKI and in 2002 and 2006 governor candidate with NAS in Eastern Attica, in cooperation with DIKKI and KKE. 
He was eight years prefectural advisor. Chief of the party.

Education Career[edit]

He graduated from the 7th Night High School of Pangrati, the National Theatre of Drama School (distinguished), as well as the Top Film School. He speaks English.

Notable Work[edit]

His father was in exile for 17 and a half years; he fought with the EAM, and with his father participated (in 3.12.1944) in the Syntagma Square where the civil war begun.
He fought for the EDA in 1958.
