Finn Thranum was born on March 20th 2012 in Arhus.

Political Career[edit]

Finn Thranum has held a number of roles including representative on the Faroe Islands, a Member of the Health Committee, Social Affairs, a member of the Committee on Children ́s and Education, a Member of the Committee on Municipal Affairs, a Member of the committee on Gender Equality Committee and the Faroe Islands Committee.

Education[edit]

He has a Metronome diploma in business economics, labour law, personnel administration, company organisation, personnel development, management and cooperation, 1980-1990.

Notable Work[edit]

He was a Member and chairperson of the school council at Elise Smiths School 1972-1974, Chairperson of the house owners' association, Hinnerup 1978-1982, Member of the Municipal Council in Hinnerup Municipality (elected for Borgerlisten for Hinnerup), Education and Cultural Affairs Committee, and the Kindergarten Board 1982-1985, Chairperson of the Hou School board 1995-1998, Member of the Municipal Council in Odder Municipality (elected for Odder Kommuneliste), Economy and Social Affairs Committee 1998-2001. He was also 1st. deputy member of the Odder Town Council (elected for Odder Kommuneliste) 2002-2005, 1st. deputy member of the Odder Town Council 2006-2009 (for the Liberal Party) and a Member of the Local Employment Council and Valuation Committee 2006-2010.
