Fan Bingbing was born the 16th of September in 1981. She is a Chinese actress, television producer and pop singer. Fan became famous in Asia at the end of the nineties with the TV series “My Fair Princess”. In 2003 she won the Hundred Flowers Award for her acting in the film Cell Phone. Fan has also participate in French, Korean and Hollywood movies. In 2007 Fan Bingbing established “Fan Bingbing Studio” in where she has produced several TV series.

Humanitarian Action[edit]

Fan Bingbing created her own organization called Heart Ali to help children suffering from congenital heart disease in Ngari Perfecture in Tibet. She keeps visiting the region to identify children in need for treatment so bring them to Beijing or Shangai for surgery. During 2010 and 2011 Heart Ali foundation, with a team of two doctors from Tsinghua University, has diagnosed over 500 children. In 2012 the team was increased with two more doctors from Shangai Yodak Cardio-thoracic Hospital and other volunteers diagnose more than 160 children. All of them have been receiving treatment in Beijing and Shanghai since then.

Philanthropic Donations[edit]

In July 2014, Fan Bingbing donate the 100.000 yuan compensation that she received after winning a court case to the China Fundation for Poverty Allevitation charity.
