Esben Lunde Larsen

Esben Lunde Larsen, born on November 14th,1978 in Skjern is a Danish politician who was elected to parliament on September 15th, 2011 for the Liberal Party in Ringkøbing, Western Jutland.

Political Career[edit]

He was a Representative on higher education and research from 2012 and education grants 2011-2013.  He has been a member of a number of committees including the European Affairs Committee, Environment Committee from 2013, Research, Innovation and Further Education Committee, the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Committee, of the Rural Districts and Islands Committee from 2011, a Member of the Liberal Party's parliamentary group management committee from 2011, a Member of the trade and tourism council in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality from 2005, a Member of the town council in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality from 2006-2013, deputy mayor from 2009, chairperson of the Knowledge Committee from 2009-2013, vice-chairman of the Economy and Business Committee 2009-2013. Member of the Trade Promotion Board in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality from 2009-2013. Chairperson of Anker Fjord Hospice from 2014.

Education[edit]

She studied for an MA in Theology at the University of Copenhagen between 2001 and 2008, her PhD at the University of Copenhagen between 2008 and 2012 and later her Postdoc at Aarhus University from 2013.
