Elżbieta Rafalska

Elżbieta Rafalska – (born on 22nd June 1955 in Wschowa, Poland) – is a Polish politician, official of a local government, the sixth term senator and a Member of Parliament (VI and VII of the term) and from 2006 to 2007 she was a Secretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

Political Career[edit]

In 1994-2005 she was the city council councilor Gorzów. From 2002 to 2005 she held the following positions: Chair of the Family and Social Affairs, and Vice-President of the Board. She was also the president of the club Councillors of Law and Justice.

Since 2004 she has been a member of the Law and Justice, and is a member of the Lubusz regional management of the party. In 2005 she was elected senator for the sixth term in the district of Lubusz. She was chairwoman of the Committee on Local Government and Public Administration. From June 2006 to April 2007, and again from August 2007 to December 2007 she served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

In the parliamentary elections in 2007, she won a parliamentary seat. In the elections to the European Parliament in 2009, he unsuccessfully sought the mandate of MEP in the district of Gorzów. In the elections to the Polish Parliament in 2011, he successfully ran for re-election. In the elections of 2014 he again sought unsuccessfully for a mandate at the European Parliament.

Education[edit]

In 1978 she graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Poznań - branch in Gorzow Wielkopolski, and then in 1998 she completed post-graduate studies at the University of Szczecin in education and revalidation and in 2001 in organization and management of social assistance and social work. She completed numerous training courses in the field of human resource management, quality management in the office and healthcare management. He obtained the right to serve as a member of the supervisory board of state-owned companies.
