Efthymios Karanasios
Efthymios Karanasios was born in Polygyros, Chalkidiki in 1965. He is a Greek politician and tradesman.
Political Career[edit]
He was Elected MP for Chalkidiki with the New Democracy Party in the elections of 2012. He served as General Director of the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Polygyros in 1994. He served as President of the Commercial Association of Polygyros and Central Chalkidiki for the period 1995-1998 and 2001-2005.
He was a member of the Administrative Council Chamber of South Chalkidiki (1994-2005), member of NODE Chalkidiki, Department of Productive Orders, founder and President of Central DAK-MME Chalkidiki, president of NODE Chalkidiki (2006-2007), Municipal Counselor in the Municipal of Polygyros (2007-2010), President of the Folklore Museum of Polygyros, candidate deputy in 2007 and 2009, President of IOMOSW ( Institution of Management of Solid Waste) for the Municipalities of Polygyros and Zerbochoria (2008-2011).
Education Career[edit]
Graduate of the Physical Education Academy. He speaks Croatian and Serbian.
