Damir Rimac

Damir Rimac was born on 1 November 1972 in Vinkovci (Croatia). He is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor), and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (Socialdemokratska Partija Hrvatske).

Political Career[edit]

He joined the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) on 23 December 2011 as a substitute for Tihomir Jakovina. Among his Parliamentary functions is the membership in the Governing Council of the Office for Locating, Marking and Maintaining the Graves of the Victims of Communist Crimes after World War II; the Environment and Nature Conservation Committee; the Agricultural Committee and in the Committee on Information, Computerisation and the Media.

Education[edit]

He graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy in Osijek and obtained qualification of a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb.
