Corrupting Sea (The Corrupting Sea: A Study of Mediterranean History, 2000)[edit]

A co-authored book by Peregrine Horden and Nicholas Purcell, analyzing the Mediterranean area as a whole over a long period of time. The Corrupting Sea focuses on the relationships between people and their environments in the region, drawing comparisons between Prehistory, Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
