Birgitte Josefsen (born in 1951) is an MP for the Liberal Party.

Political career[edit]

She has been a member of the regional council in North Jutland County from 1994 to 2005, and for the City Council in Frederikshavn Municipality since 1998.

From 2002 to 2005 she was president of the Social Affairs Committee in Frederikshavn Municipality, after which she continued her career as a member of parliament for the Hobro circle.

Birgitte Josefsen is Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Planning and Environment Committee. She is also chairman of the Association of Production in Denmark and a health spokesperson for the Liberal Party. Since 2010, Josefsen is a member of the regional council in North Jutland.

Education[edit]

She trained as a nurse in 1974.
