Biotic[edit]

The term biotic describes systems consisting of living organisms, or something that is associated with or comes from a living organism. As well as organisms, the word biotic covers aspects of a biotic community such as predatory practices, competition and relationships. Plants, animals, fungi, protist and bacteria are all example of biotic or living factors.
