Beata Małecka-Libera

Beata Małecka-Libera born on 17th May 1954 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland. She is a Polish politician and a member of Parliament (V, VI and VII cadency).

Political Career[edit]

She was a member of the Democratic Union and Freedom Union. In 2005, she was selected as a Member of the V term in the district of Sosnowiec as a member of the Platforma Obywatelska (the Civic Platform). In the parliamentary elections in 2007, she was re-elected to her parliamentary seat. In elections of 2011, she successfully applied for re-election.

Education[edit]

In 1979 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Silesian Medical Academy in Zabrze. Between 1980 and 1996 she worked as an otolaryngologist. In 1993-1997 she was a student of doctoral studies in 1999, she defended her doctoral thesis, receiving the degree of Doctor of Medicine. In 2000-2002 she was a student of postgraduate studies at the Jagiellonian University Institute of Public Health at the Department of Health.
