Astrid Freudenstein
Dr. Astrid Freudenstein is a member of CDU/CSU and was born on October 9, 1973 in Bad Griesbach, Germany. She is an academic councillor by profession.
Political Career[edit]
Since 2008, Freudenstein has been a councillor for the city council of Regensburg. She has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2013,. She is the chairwoman of the German-Croatian Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Education[edit]
Freudenstein studied at the University of Passau from 1993 to 1998. In 2009, she was promoted to Dr. Phil. She worked as a journalist at Bayerischer Rundfunk from 1998 to 2010. She has been a lecturer in Media Studies at the University of Regensburg since 2010.
