Ante Babić

Ante Babić was born on May 26, 1966 in Trier, Federal Republic of Germany. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska Demokratska Zajednica) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament since 2011.

Political Career[edit]

Babić entered the Croatian Parliament in December 2011 as a substitute for Damir Krstičević. He is a member of the Committee on Human and National Minority Rights, the Committee on Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee, the Executive Committee of the National Group to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, as well as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean. His previous parliamentary functions include memberships in the Gender Equality Committee and the Committee on the Family, Youth and Sports.

Education[edit]

Babić graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Split. Having completed a postgraduate specialist programme at the same Faculty, he acquired the qualification of University Specialist of European Economic Integrations.
