Andrzej Witold Halicki

Andrzej Witold Halicki was born on 26th November 1961 in Warsaw. He is an economist and since 2007, has been a member of the Polish Parliament. He is the Minister for Administration and Digitisation since 2014.

Political career[edit]

Andrzje Halicki began as a member of the opposition. From 1990 to 1992 he was a spokesman in Jan Krzysztof Bielecki's government, and spokesman for his party Kongres Liberalno-Demokratyczny(Liberal Democratic Congress). Between 1992 and 2007, he had a number of different positions, for example, as a chief in the American Agency Burson-Marsteller, as a Head of Public Affairs, as well as setting up his own GGK Public Relations Agency. Since 2001, he has been a member of Platforma Obywatelska. On 10th January 2001 he become a deputy as a replacement for Jacek Wojciechowicz. In 2007, he was re-elected. On 24th June 2009 he become chairman in the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

On 22th September 2014 he become be Minister for Administration and Digitisation.

Education[edit]

He graduated with a Master degree from the SGPiS(Now SGH- Warsaw School of Economics) in 1990, in the field of Economy in Air Transport.
