Adolphe Rukenkanya is the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture of Burundi.

Political Career[edit]

Adolphe Rukenkanya was an advisor to the strategic development and consulting firm in the Presidency of the Republic of Burundi before he became Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture. Moreover, he worked as a professor at the University of Burundi. He was also sports expert at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture and the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Rwanda. Since 1981, he has been an international elite athletics coach.



Education[edit]

He holds a degree in Physical Education and Sports from the University of Burundi. He also attended the National Institute of Sport and Physical Education in Paris where he took a degree with Valedictorian Honors. He speaks four languages, Kirundi, French, English and Kiswahili.
